WebbOfsted stands for the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. Established initially in 1992 as the Office for Standards in Education, Ofsted’s remit was expanded in 2007 to include children’s services work relating to social care and the courts, and its full title was changed to reflect this. WebbStatutory requirements This section sets out the actions that the registered person(s) must take to meet the Care Standards Act 2000, the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and the ‘Guide to the Children’s Homes Regulations, including the quality standards’. The registered person(s) must comply within the given timescales.
